Great for beginners: The course is great for beginners, and no winter mountaineering experience is required.
Fitness Level: We’ll be walking at a relaxed, sociable pace, but a moderate level of fitness is recommended, as the winter conditions in Scotland can be a bit challenging at times.
Duration: Three days / two nights
Accommodation: Quadruple shared room, bunk beds with private bathroom at YHA Glen Nevis, Fort William.
Location: This weekend will take place in the stunning Scottish Highlands, primarily around the Fort William and Glencoe area on the West Coast.
Transport: We’ll offer you transport options and information on lift-sharing to make your journey seamless.
What’s included: Two days Winter Walking and Skills Course, Friday and Saturday night Accommodation, Breakfast, Packed lunch, an Evening Meal on the Friday Night. Guidance and support!
What’s not-included: Transport, Rental Equipment, Evening Meal on the Saturday night.
Winter Rental: Renting winter equipment has never been easier. You’ll receive a complete winter kit list along with helpful advice and information about our rental gear. On the weekend, I’ll personally make sure you have everything you need and that your equipment is perfectly suited for your adventure in the mountains.
The Winter Guides: We hold the prestigious Winter Mountain Leader Award, are trained in Mountain First Aid, and bring extensive experience in Scottish winter conditions. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities!
